The Silence that Shelters me

Can I Live Alone?

Life didn’t ask me if I was ready for change. It pushed me into the unknown, stripped away my life, and left me on the verge of something unknown. Living alone was not a deliberate decision but the result of unexpected turns, of paths that split without warning. At first, solitude felt heavy, an emptiness that seemed to settle in every corner of my existence.

I thought I could resist it, rebuild what was lost, and fill the empty spaces with new presences. But soon, I understood that resistance only prolongs suffering. Life, like nature, does not pause; it moves forward, unstoppable, and only when we embrace its flow do we find true peace.

Finding the Way

It was in nature that I found my refuge, not as an escape but as a way of discovering. I learned to live with myself by walking through forests, mountains, and by the sea, watching wildlife, capturing ephemeral moments with my camera, writing, painting, and dreaming. Little by little, I understood that I, too, could be complete in my solitude.

Silence ceased to be a burden and became a fertile space. I learned to listen to myself, to savor stillness, and to discover the richness of a peaceful moment. When I walk among ancient trees or gaze at the vastness of a starry sky, I know there is no absence, only presence, in everything around me.

A Different Way of Living

Over time, solitude stopped being an imposed state and became a choice. It is not an ending but the beginning to a different way of existence in the world, where the freedom to live unfolds without constraints. My life is a testimony that happiness does not always lie in what we plan but in our ability to embrace the unexpected and find beauty in simplicity.

Living alone does not mean being alone. It means discovering that my own company is enough and that there is never true emptiness in the vastness of nature.
