Pisgah National Forest
My trip to Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina did not look promising. I started driving when the night was really dark, the never-ending rain and the thick fog reduced the visibility, and suddenly, everything changed …

With the first light, the bright colors of autumn were visible. When I was finally able to stop, I found a small waterfall at the edge of the road.

I had never heard of this forest reserve before, I think it is not as well-known as the Smoky Mountains, but since it was close to my route, I decided to inform myself and visit some of its waterfalls. The truth is that I was amazed.

As I walked the trails through the forest, I noticed that the leaves and moss colors were brighter and more saturated from the water.

The light filtered through the cloudy sky is especially beautiful to bring out the colors, and I enjoyed myself with my cameras.

The hike on the muddy trail covered in slippery, dry leaves was really difficult for me. I had to walk very slowly so as not to slip with my precious cargo, but perhaps for this same reason, I could observe details that those who walk very fast cannot see.
