Dawn at the Glacier National Park, Montana

June 21st, the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere, is the longest day of the year, and I celebrated it in grand style. I arrived at the shore of Duck Lake before four in the morning and saw a faint glow in the east, marking where the sun would rise.

The Enchanted Garden

I stopped in a small parking area because I noticed the dew glistening on the grass; I approached and found an enchanted garden. Only elves and fairies could inhabit this tiny and luminous world, a world of crystals, pearls, and diamonds sparkling in the sun.

The Wonder Sunset

I was very fortunate to experience the solstice among those sacred mountains and enjoy the beauty of the place. What a perfect day! And the final hours gave me more than I could have imagined.
