On the road, memories began to surface in my mind, creating a whirlwind of images. They jumped from one time to another, from one country to another, from being a child to being a mother.

Driving from Maryland to Florida

On May 21, 2020, I left the state of Maryland (A) and began driving to Florida (B). I started a journey of more than 900 miles. Under normal conditions, it would have taken me two full days, but that day, at the beginning of the pandemic, it took me only sixteen hours.
